7 Steps to take the Stress out of Getting Rich

by admin

Ask anyone and most people will say that it’s their dream to become rich in one way somehow. To think that millionaires are born and not made seems like an unfair thing to think about. So what if you’re not born with a silver spoon in your mouth? Would it be a folly to simply dream of you becoming rich? Or is there a way of getting yourself up high on top of the pyramid?

Good news for you though because if you want to get rich, there is actually a way for you to do it right and do it early like RIGHT NOW with these 7 steps. Mind you, doing them may not be easy but they would surely pay off for you in the long run.

Take the stress out of getting rich

1. Start investing now.

The difference between savings and investments is that you tend to expend the former for your immediate needs and the latter for a specific time. Of the basic things Bill Gates learned from the famous billionaire Warren Buffett, it’s about investing. Most business people are into investing with different company bonds including the stock market to increase their fair share of wealth. Investments are a good way for you to take advantage of the rise and fall of the stock market. You can start small and end up big so you better know where to put your eggs and never put them in just one basket. A variety of investment in different companies is much more an advantage for you. If you’re quite unsure how to do this, ask a financial adviser for insights or help yourself through guides on quality sites on the web.

2. Be your own boss.

Managing your own business can be pretty stressful especially if you are just starting. Nevertheless, it’s one way to start your way to becoming rich. Be your own boss. Start your own business and from there make the right connections. The idea is this, running a small business is similar to running a big one. The only difference lies in scaling. If you start making yourself the boss today, it’s not that impossible for you to become your own boss tomorrow. Start a small business or maybe you can put up a website and promote what you can do. Mark Zuckerberg were just 20 years old when he launched Facebook. It’s free and everyone loved it. Now, Zuckerberg is one of the youngest billionaires who have not even reached 40. You could be the next Mark Zuckerberg too by starting your own business and use it as a platform to get rich. As Zuckerberg once said:-

The biggest risk is not taking any risk… In a world thats changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks.

3. Live a simpler life.

There’s no use getting rich if you are not able to enjoy it. Remember, frugality means living a simpler life and not bathing yourself in luxury. You’d find that eating healthy, exercising daily, and keeping your social life active is not just true wealth but a good way to live your life as well. A longer life would also mean that you get the best of what life has to offer you and the opportunities to make more wealth.

4. Avoid the self-gratification mentality.

When it happens that you reach your goal of a million dollars a month (or what ever your target is), you should allow yourself to celebrate the accomplishment.  However it is important not to overdo these celebrations and undo the good work that you have done,by allow yourself a too much self gratitude. It would be rather useless if you’d come by such an amount and then you go and splurge by buying a watch worth $200,000 or spend it on jewelry. The best thing to do, is hold that self-gratifying attitude in check for the moment. Think about whether the time you spent working for the money you’re going to spend is worth what you’re buying. If it’s not, forget it. Even Warren Buffett, who has previously been named the wealthiest man alive, lived in only one house when he was just starting to get rich until now that he is rich. Why should you be any different?

5. Time is GOLD.

Remember, you may have so much ideas and money on your hands but the time lost can never be brought and cannot be bought back. If you want to get rich, use your time wisely. Don’t warm your bed up until 8:00 in the morning. Wake up early, do things earlier than most and at the end of the day you’ll accomplish more than common people would have done.

6. Set your mind to work.

When you work, don’t lag behind or think there’s always tomorrow to do things. The more you can be productive today, the better it will be for your tomorrow. Set your mind to work and stick to it. If it’s time to work, WORK! But if it’s a time to rest, your day with your family for example, make it a rest day with your family. Don’t stress yourself too much over working even on the time when you should have rested because doing so decreases your productivity. It’s better that you take things right, slow and sure rather than go so fast with less effectiveness, on what needs to be done.  This will ensure that you can achieve more in less time.

7. You get wealthy for a reason not just for comfort.

Call it noble but getting rich to give more is something worth remembering. Bill Gates and Warren Buffett’s pledge to give more to charity than their own children is a wonderful example of this. One man can’t live so long to spend all the money he has on everything he needs unless he’d used it for luxury matters. Always remember that you get rich for a reason and not simply to live comfortable for the rest of your life (tough this is a great by product). If you’re trying to get rich to give your future sons and daughters the life you have always wanted to have, then it’s enough reason to motivate you and push you to work hard.  Find your reason.  The reason that you get out of bed in the morning, the reason that you will push yourself to do the things that are needed.  Once you have found this reason, other than just for the money, you will be well on your way.

One more thing: remember that the earlier you start, the earlier you’ll reap the fruits of your labor.
